Kevin Baez bio:
Baez started 32 of the Mets final 47 games in 1993. His best game that year: 3 hits and 3 RBI's against the Cardinals on August 1st. The infielder committed 6 errors in his first 28 games that year, then none in the last 24 games. He missed most of the 1991 season after being struck in the face by a pitch while in Tidewater. Played collegiate baseball at Cominican (NY) College. He was born January 10, 1967 and drafted by the Mets in the 8th round of the 1988 June Draft.
