5 least likely reasons the great and mighty Jack's Pile wins the league: 

1. Drafts Alfonso Soriano in the first round and in April trades him to Top Guns for Chris Michalak, Doug Linton, and Chet Lemon. 
2. Focuses his draft strategy on dominating the category "OPP" 
3. Drafts Neifi Perez in the 6th round saying, "He can only get better!" 
4. Drafts Curt Schilling, and trades him to Chuck for a collection of scrubs highlighted by Raul Mondesi. 
5. In a move to spiritually motivate his slumping pitching staff, changes his name to "Jack's Pile of Leo Mazzone"
